Cora Breakfast and Lunch celebrates 100th Sun! - Cora Tsouflidou now shares her passion with millions of Canadians

    MONTREAL, April 2 /CNW Telbec/ - On April 6th 2009, the Cora Franchise
Group, Inc., Canada's breakfast leader, will celebrate the opening of its
100th location, in Milton, Ontario.
    This is a very important milestone for the founder who is now recognized
as the Queen of Breakfast in Canada. "Nobody takes breakfast more to heart
than we do" says Cora Tsouflidou "I've always dreamt of sharing my love of
breakfast with as many people as possible". This passion for the most
important meal of the day is now shared with 100 dedicated entrepreneurs
across the country. The Cora group employs more than 3000 persons who will be
delivering the founder's vision to more than 12 million Canadians over the
next year.
    The 100th location is the 11th opening over the last 12 months. The
rhythm of restaurant openings should accelerate over the next months as 30
additional locations are currently in various stages of development, including
the chain's first restaurant in British Columbia. Executive Vice-President,
David Polny mentions that the group has significantly increased the network's
growth capacity by adding personnel to already significant development,
operations and training teams.
    From her humble beginnings in a small Montreal restaurant, working with
her three children, Cora is now recognized as the Queen of Breakfast in
Canada. After more than 20 years of growth and development, the founder's
passion has been transmitted to a new generation, her son Nicholas is now
President and leads an extended team of experienced managers.
    The chain is famous for its all-day breakfast fare that boasts mounds of
fresh fruit artfully prepared by on-site specially-trained "fruiters". This
success has translated to financial success as the network is now generating
over 100 millions in sales and has seen total revenue double over the last 5

launched a new selection of Panini-crepes. The delicious crepe based plates
have been very well received and already have risen to join some of the best
selling classics on the menu. More surprises are currently being tested in the
Research and Development department of the Quebec based head office.
    Cora Breakfast and Lunch offers customers top quality food and service in
a cozy family setting Monday to Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on
Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
