Comedians Russell Peters and Angelo Tsarouchas to Perform for Troops at USO Shows in Dubai

    ARLINGTON, Va., March 9 /CNW/ -- Comedians Russell Peters and Angelo
Tsarouchas will bring their unique brand of comedy to service members at USO
shows in Dubai March 13-15.

    The Canadian-born Peters has performed for more than 17 years in theatres
all over the world.  His latest DVD and CD, "Outsourced," has gone platinum
eight times in Canada.  Peters also had a recurring role in the Canadian
television sitcom "Lord Have Mercy," and hosted his own BBC chat show,
"Network East Late."  Russell was nominated for four Gemini Awards, the
equivalent of the Emmys in Canada, for his work and was named one of Variety's
"Ten Comedians to Watch" in 2006.  His movie credits include "The Take" and
"Senior Skip Day."
    An internationally known stand-up comic, Tsarouchas has performed for
audiences all over the world.  He was recently showcased at the UK Paramount
Comedy Festival, South African Comedy Festival and Montreal's Just For Laughs.
His comedy CD, "It's All Greek to Me," recently reached the top of the charts
in Australia.  Tsarouchas also has appeared in a number of films, including
"The Score," "John Q" and "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle."
    This tour continues the USO's tradition of bringing celebrities to troops
stationed far from home.  Comedians who recently participated in USO tours
include Jamie Kennedy, David Alan Grier, Wilmer Valderrama, Al Franken and
Bill Engvall.
