Colombia Goldfields Begins Trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange

    TORONTO, Aug. 27 /CNW/ - Colombia Goldfields Ltd (the "Company") is
pleased to announce that, effective at the opening of trading today, Monday,
August 27, 2007, the Company's common shares will commence trading on the
Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") under the symbol GOL.
    "Colombia Goldfields' listing on the TSX is a significant milestone for
the Company," said J. Randy Martin, President and Chief Executive Officer.
"This will increase our visibility, and expand the profile of Colombia
Goldfield's shares for analysts and investors in North America."
