Collective agreement ratified by the Public Service Alliance of Canada

    OTTAWA, June 15 /CNW Telbec/ - NAV CANADA today announced the successful
conclusion of collective bargaining with the Public Service Alliance of Canada
(PSAC) which represents approximately 300 employees involved in a variety of
work including clerical and administrative, drafting and illustration,
educational support, engineering and scientific support, general labour and
trades, general services, information services, commercial relations, revenue
collection and customer service.
    Members of PSAC voted in favour of the tentative agreement reached on May
21, 2009. The new collective agreement runs until June 30, 2011, and provides
for wage increases of 1 per cent on July 1, 2009, 1 per cent on January 1,
2010 and 1 per cent on July 1, 2010, followed by a 1.5 per cent increase on
January 1, 2011.

    NAV CANADA, the country's civil air navigation services provider, is a
private sector, non-share capital corporation financed through publicly-traded
debt. With operations coast to coast, NAV CANADA provides air traffic control,
flight information, weather briefings, aeronautical information services,
airport advisory services and electronic aids to navigation.
