Collective agreement ratified by Canadian Federal Pilots Association

    OTTAWA, June 5 /CNW Telbec/ - NAV CANADA today announced the successful
conclusion of collective bargaining with the Canadian Federal Pilots
Association (CFPA) which represents approximately 35 pilots who perform
Aeronautical Information Services, Flight Inspection and ANS service design..
    Members of CFPA voted in favour of the tentative agreement reached on
April 16, 2009. The new collective agreement runs until October 24, 2010, and
provides for wage increases of 1 per cent on October 25, 2008, 1 per cent on
April 25, 2009 and 1 per cent on October 25, 2009, followed by a 1.5 per cent
increase on April 25, 2010.

    NAV CANADA, the country's civil air navigation services provider, is a
private sector, non-share capital corporation financed through publicly-traded
debt. With operations coast to coast, NAV CANADA provides air traffic control,
flight information, weather briefings, aeronautical information services,
airport advisory services and electronic aids to navigation.
