CN Tower Honours Veterans on Remembrance Day

    TORONTO, Nov. 5 /CNW/ - On Remembrance Day, November 11, 2007, the CN
Tower will honour the memories of Canadian veterans and Canadians killed in
war and peacekeeping missions so that we can enjoy the freedom we have today.
    On November 11, 2007 the CN Tower structure will be lit red representing
the colour of the poppy - the traditional symbol of remembrance - flags on
property will be flown at half-staff, CN Tower employees will wear poppy pins,
and the CN Tower will observe two minutes of silence at 11 am followed by the
traditional reading of the poem In Flanders Fields.
    The CN Tower will also offer complimentary admission to the Look Out and
Glass Floor Levels on November 9, 10 and 11 to any visiting Canadian Veterans,
Legion Hall Members and Members of the Canadian Armed Forces (who will be
required to show their membership cards to take advantage of this offer).
