CME-Alberta announces Export Awards Leadership recipient and finalists

    EDMONTON, Feb. 3 /CNW/ - The Alberta division of Canadian Manufacturers
and Exporters (CME-Alberta) today announced the inaugural Alberta Export
Awards Leadership Award recipient and finalists.
    "We are pleased to announce the Leadership Award winner and finalists in
all categories of the Alberta Export Awards," said Brian McCready,
vice-president of CME-Alberta. "These exporting companies have been guiding
our established, emerging and developing sectors at every level; they have
demonstrated exceptional leadership capabilities and have played a significant
role in exporting from our province."
    The winner of the Leadership Award is Doug McNeill, Executive
vice-president Business Development at Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. The
Leadership Award recognizes an individual or organization that has played a
significant role in exporting and is known to champion exporting within their

    Award winners in each category, along with the prestigious Exporter of
the Year recipient, will be honoured as Alberta's top exporters by
CME-Alberta, government officials and leaders from the export community at the
Alberta Export Awards Gala luncheon. The luncheon will be held at noon at the
Westin Edmonton on Wednesday, March 25, 2009.
    The public is invited to join the excitement around global exporting and
celebrate the accomplishments of those individuals and companies in the
province who have successfully marketed their product or service
