Cloakware Security Suite Selected by CREDANT for its Mobile Guardian Product Suite

Adds Anti-Reverse Engineering Protection to Mobile Data Protection
Company Products that Secure Data at Rest on Laptops and Portable Devices

VIENNA, VA., September 10 /CNW/ - Cloakware Inc., the security solutions
provider that makes security inseparable from software, today announced that
CREDANT has selected Cloakware Security Suite to strengthen its client
application as part of its integrated, centrally managed, policy-based mobile
security solution, CREDANT Mobile Guardian(R) (CMG). With CMG, government and
commercial organizations can secure data at rest on notebooks, tablet PCs,
desktops, PDAs, smart phones and external media.

CREDANT selected Cloakware Security Suite to increase the protection of
its application code against reverse engineering, tampering attacks and
automated attacks. This added layer of protection helps CREDANT ensure that
customers comply with data security requirements and legislation such as
Federal OMB 6-16 Mandate, HIPAA, and numerous Federal & State Data Privacy and
Breach Notification laws, while simultaneously reducing the cost, brand
damage, intellectual property loss and potential threat to national security
due to security breaches.

"At CREDANT, our vision has always been to provide a complete solution to
enable enterprises to control and secure all things mobile," said Chris
Burchett, chief technology officer and cofounder of CREDANT Technologies. "As
a security software provider, we recognize the need to continuously build upon
and use the best tools and techniques for ensuring the highest level of
security in our solution. With Cloakware Security Suite, we are further
enhancing an important aspect of our solution, which will drive increased
value to our customers."

Simple to integrate and apply, the Cloakware Security Suite adds robust
protection to software. A range of security techniques, including data and
control flow transformation, anti-debug, white-box cryptography, integrity
verification and executable encryption, protect against direct, automated,
static and dynamic attacks. For CREDANT, Cloakware Security Suite hardens the
client against more sophisticated online attacks so data is not exposed,
enabling the company to broaden its ability to protect data while an
application is running.

"Recent data thefts and leakages across both corporate and government
enterprises have highlighted the need for more advanced techniques to not only
protect desktop systems but mobile devices as well," said David Canellos,
interim president for Cloakware. "With CREDANT Mobile Guardian, CREDANT is
taking a complete approach to mobile security. By integrating Cloakware
Security Suite into its security architecture, CREDANT is the front-runner in
eliminating the full range of mobile data vulnerability endpoints with a
single, integrated solution."
