Cineplex Entertainment Supports Emerging Canadian Filmmakers At CFC


    TORONTO, Feb. 13 /CNW/ - CFC (Canadian Film Centre) and Cineplex
Entertainment L.P. (TSX:CGX.UN) announced today, a five-year, $1,000,000
corporate donation by Cineplex Entertainment which will play an important role
in supporting emerging filmmakers in Canada. The CFC Film program will now be
recognized as Cineplex Entertainment Film Program. Known within the industry
for providing many talented film directors, producers, writers and editors, it
is the essential ground for fostering Canada's best talents in filmmaking. In
addition, Cineplex Entertainment has established an endowed scholarship of
$100,000. The Cineplex Entertainment Scholarship will aid one film resident
annually, in perpetuity, with costs associated with taking the program.

collaborative skills, while refining and challenging their artistic expression
