CIBC celebrates the grand opening of its second seven-day banking centre in Vaughan

    Hockey legend Wendel Clark signing autographs, clients can win a new
    barbecue and other great prizes

    VAUGHAN, ON, May 30 /CNW/ - Today, Toronto hockey legend Wendel Clark
helps to celebrate the grand opening of CIBC's new 6,700 square-foot
full-service branch on Dufferin Street at Major Mackenzie Drive in northeast
Vaughan. The new branch is the second CIBC location in Vaughan to feature
full-service banking seven days a week and offers service in English, French,
Italian, Farsi and Albanian.
    To mark the occasion, CIBC is making a $15,000 contribution to the City
of Vaughan in support of the upcoming Communities in Bloom. CIBC's unique
contribution which will help the York Region Children's Aid Society send six
boys and girls to Camp Onondaga this summer, as well as join CIBC at the
Communities in Bloom Multicultural Festival later this year. At Camp Onondaga,
each child will have the opportunity to become more self-assured and accepting
of others in a safe, supportive and active environment.
    Toronto hockey legend, Wendel Clark, will be on-site to take photos with
fans who also have the chance to win a new barbecue, lawn mower or a round of
golf for four. Guests can enjoy a free barbecue as well as a variety of fun
activities for families including a barbecue, a caricaturist, a magician and a
bouncy castle.

    The hours of operation are:

    Monday - Wednesday:   9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
    Thursday - Friday:    9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
    Saturday:             9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
    Sunday:               noon - 4 p.m.

    The new branch is fully accessible, including three Automated Banking
Machines (ABMs) all installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone
jacks for audio access; grab bars for mobility assistance; and brighter
lighting, plus a 24-hour drive-thru ABM for added convenience.

relocate and expand over 70 new branches across Canada to offer greater
