WINDSOR, ON, Nov. 1 /CNW/ - Chrysler Canada today reported its
15th consecutive month of sales growth, tying Chrysler's previous all-time
record. October sales of 15,411 vehicles were up 2.6 per cent over the same
month last year when 15,020 units were sold. So far this year Chrysler Canada
has sold 195,284 vehicles, an increase of 5.7 per cent from the same period
last year.
For November, the company is restructuring and increasing its incentive
offers. The November incentives include significant cash enhancements and the
return of the successful "3 for Free" sales program, delivering total cash
rebates up to $10,750; an increase of up to $5,250 over October.
"Retail customers have driven our 15-month streak of sales growth and to
ensure that it continues, we have restructured our incentives to meet the
concerns of Canadian customers," said Dave Buckingham, Vice President of
Sales. "We know that there is a lot of concern in the Canadian market and we
want buyers to know that the best purchase experience for them is our Canadian
Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge showrooms. Each of the three ways a customer may
chose to buy a vehicle, whether it is cash, purchase finance payments, or
lease payments, have all been improved.
The "3 for Free" sales program is in addition to the new cash incentives,
and gives customers the flexibility to choose the offer that meets their
needs. Chrysler will make the first three payments up to $500 per month on
Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge vehicles purchased or leased with Chrysler Financial.
Alternatively, the customer can opt for an immediate $1,250 rebate, which they
can use to lower their purchase price/monthly payments, add Mopar Accessories,
get an extended service contract or simply help out with Holiday shopping
The "3 for Free" program includes nearly every 2007 Chrysler, Jeep and
Dodge vehicle plus 2008 Grand Caravan, Town Country, Avenger, Ram 1500 and Ram
Heavy Duty.

    October Sales Highlights

The success of the new Jeep Wrangler and small, fuel-efficient models
like Compass and Patriot, as well as the new clean diesel powered Jeep Grand
