Certified Management Accountants announce combined MBA program with Brock University

    Students can pursue MBA and concurrently fulfill CMA designation

    TORONTO, June 27 /CNW/ - Certified Management Accountants of Ontario
announce that the Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) offered by
the Faculty of Business at Brock University is now a CMA combined program.
This is the 10th combined Masters/MBA program offered by CMA Ontario with
leading universities in the province.(*)
    Brock students will now be able to fulfill the CMA "Strategic Leadership
Program" component of the designation, when they complete all CMA-required
courses offered within the Brock University MBA program.
    To earn their CMA designation, Brock MBA graduates will then need to
complete the CMA Entrance & Case Exam, CMA Board Report & Presentation, and
meet the two-year work experience component.(xx)
    "I have seen over the past couple of years, a huge growth in the number
of MBA students looking to do the CMA designation, as they recognize its
importance in a competitive market place," said Jean MacKinnon, Regional
Director of Marketing and Communications, CMA Ontario.
    The CMA "Strategic Leadership Program" is designed to teach and enhance
the abilities of candidates to apply leading edge business practices so
enterprises succeed in highly competitive market sectors.

    Ottawa, Queen's University, Queen's/Cornell, University of Toronto
    at Mississauga, University of Toronto - Joseph L./ Rotman School
