Certified Management Accountants accredit Bachelor of Accounting Program at Brock University

    TORONTO, June 27 /CNW/ - Certified Management Accountants of Ontario
announce their accreditation of the Bachelor of Accounting program at the
Brock University Faculty of Business.
    The Bachelor of Accounting program's success in meeting the demanding
program requirements set out by CMA Canada is a testament to the exceptional
ability of the Faculty of Business. As one of only 9 universities to hold the
CMA accreditation status, Brock joins an exclusive group of universities.
    Brock University students who on completion of their university degree
and have successfully passed the CMA Ontario course requirements offered by
the faculty, are now be eligible to be exempt from the CMA Entrance Exam. This
select group of students will now enter directly into the "Strategic
Leadership Program", the fourth and last step required to obtain the CMA

    Candidates progress through the two-year CMA "Strategic Leadership
Program" concurrent with full-time employment. This stage of study is designed
to teach and enhance the abilities of candidates to apply leading edge
business practices so enterprises succeed in highly competitive market
