toward the auto industry, evidenced by the news of over one thousand layoffs
at Chrysler's Brampton assembly plant.

    Time: 9:00am - 10:30am

"Our members at Brampton Chrysler have witnessed, first hand, the impact
of an auto industry that is struggling because of government neglect and
inaction," said CAW Local 1285 President Vince Bailey.
"It is crucial that our local area MPs fully understand the crisis our
community faces, and that they take the voice of autoworkers to Ottawa."

Honourable Navdeep Bains (Mississauga-Brampton South), Gurbax S. Malhi

Jerry Dias, Assistant to CAW National President
Paul Forder, Director, Government Relations, CAW-Canada
Terry Farrell, CAW Skilled Trades Coordinator

Media are welcome to attend. Interviews can be scheduled upon request.
