TORONTO, July 7 /CNW/ - CAW President Buzz Hargrove will be announcing
who will receive the union's official endorsement for both the national
president and secretary-treasurer positions at a press conference downtown
Toronto tomorrow.

Executive Board, the rank and file leadership body of the union, and a meeting
of the 150 staff members from across the country in the afternoon. Both groups
will vote on who should succeed Buzz Hargrove as national president and Jim
O'Neil as national secretary-treasurer. The meetings will not be open to
members of the media.
The candidates will then run for election at the union's constitutional
