addition to the Canwest Raise-a-Reader Concert Series family of artists -
iconic American singer-songwriter, author, and poet Bob Dylan - has expanded
his tour to the East.
In addition to seven Western Canada tour stops announced last week, Dylan
has increased the scope of his Canadian tour to include Sault Ste. Marie,
Sudbury, Oshawa, Kingston, Ottawa, and Montreal. Partial proceeds from ticket
sales - on sale this week - will be donated to Canwest Raise-a-Reader in
support of local literacy groups in communities across the country.
The Concert Series has the ongoing support of exclusive sponsor Assante
Wealth Management. Assante has been a major sponsor of Canwest Raise-a-Reader
since 2004, and with this series has provided additional funding dedicated to
raising awareness of literacy across Canada.
Another key partner in the series is international concert promoter, Live
