Canadians get their jingle bells on

    TORONTO, Dec. 1 /CNW/ - Today, close to 10,000 participants nation-wide
helped to raise funds for The Salvation Army. The annual Santa Shuffle family
fun run and walk took place in 34 cities from St. John's to Victoria with
supporters coming together for fun, fellowship and a great cause.
"Over the last seven years we have raised more than two million dollars
and we are looking forward to adding to this total from this year's pledges."
Graham D. Moore, Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters, Public Relations and
Development Secretary continues, "Proceeds from this event support our
programs and services that give hope, helping women and children in crisis,
providing food and shelter for the homeless and making Christmas a possibility
for those in need."

The Salvation Army Santa Shuffle is a partnership with the Running Room.
