Canadian Traffic Network ULC Appoints Peter Alpen Vice President/General Manager of its Western Region

    NEW YORK, March 6 /CNW/ - Canadian Traffic Network, a subsidiary of
Global Traffic Network Inc., (Nasdaq:   GNET), a leading provider of custom
traffic and news reports to radio and television stations outside the United
States, announced today that it has appointed Peter Alpen
Vice-President/General Manager of its Western Region.
    In his role, Alpen will be overseeing the Company's growth in Vancouver,
Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and all of Western Canada. Prior to joining
Canadian Traffic Network, he served as Director and Vice-President of Sales
and Marketing at Fraser Valley Broadcasters and Starcom Broadcast Sales where
he increased national sales revenue each year by adopting specific and unique
marketing strategies. Before this, Alpen held the position of Account
Executive at Target Media Inc. where he was responsible for national sales on
52 radio stations in British Columbia and Alberta.
