Canadian team wins world's largest urban adventure series

    ROME, Oct. 10 /CNW/ - Canadians David Quaschnick and James Dean of
Edmonton, AB crossed the Finish Line at the picturesque Coliseum and celebrate
after racing more than 50 hours to finish first in the 2007 City Chase World
Championship, which took place September 27 to 29, 2007 in Rome, Italy.
    Equipped with nothing but an empty backpack and the clothes on their back
- 10 teams of two representing Australia, Canada, England, France, Hong Kong,
Italy, Spain, Singapore, Portugal and the United States were engaged in an
epic three day battle for the title of World Champions. They navigated their
way through the streets of Rome, employing their wits, stamina, physical
strength and sense of humour to complete 22 ChasePoint challenges.
    City Chase will be broadcast in April 2008 in more than 100 countries
around the world as a four-part series on Nat Geo Adventure.
