MONTREAL, Aug. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - As part of the Montreal's Italian Week,
Magnus Poirier is the proud sponsor of the Puccini Exhibition featuring
original costumes from Puccini's operas dating back to the 1890s - 1920s. This
is the very first time these costumes - which very seldom venture out of
Puccini's hometown museum of Torre del Lago, Tuscany, and mostly in Europe -
will be presented in Canada.
"Magnus Poirier has been present within Montreal's Italian community for
85 years and it is an honor for us to present to all who will take part in the
various activities of this 15th edition of the Montreal's Italian Week an
exhibition of such outstanding cultural significance", declares Magnus
Poirier's President and CEO Claude Poirier.
The exhibition will be open from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday to Sunday,
August 15 to 17 inclusively, under the tent, corner of St. Laurent and Dante.
A 5-generation family business well implanted in the community since
1923, Magnus Poirier provides the full range of customized funeral products
and services, adapted to the needs of the ever-evolving Quebec market. Magnus
Poirier is committed to serve you with the greatest respect regardless of your
origins, faiths or customs.
