Canadian Mining - Corporate Update

    Symbol: CNG - TSX.V

VANCOUVER, April 3 /CNW/ - In light of the recent increase in market
activity of the Company's shares, management is taking this opportunity to
provide an update to the Company's activities.
Canadian Mining is a well-diversified company with stable management and
an excellent potential for growth. The Company is engaged in the exploration
and development of precious and base metals in the Alamos Mining District in
Sonora, Mexico, the Bullard Mining District in Arizona and the exploration,
development and production of industrial minerals in Canada.

    San Bernardo Project, Sonora, Mexico

The Company's 27,000 acre San Bernardo Project is located in the prolific
Alamos Mining District of Sonora, which is widely recognized as the number one
mining state of Mexico. This district is of great mineral tradition and has a
wide range of mineral resources. Producing mines in the area include Frontera
Copper (TSX:FCC), Alamos Gold (TSX:AGI) and Pan American Silver (NASDAQ: PAAS).
A 43-101 Technical Report dated April 2, 2008 was prepared by Qualified
Person, Marvin A. Mitchell, P. Eng. entitled "Technical Report on the Raquel 3
Concession". In the fall of November, 2008 SJ Geophysics completed a very
aggressive exploration program on behalf of the Company, including a 3D IP
Geophysics Survey over the past producing El Gochico Mine, an area formally
mined by Industrias Penoles in the 1980's which is located on the Company's
Concession. Drill targets have been established as a result of the Survey. In
addition, the Company has recently acquired an additional 1,836 acre Raquel 3B
concession which is contiguous to the Company's El Gochico holdings.

    Bullard Pass Gold Project, Arizona

The Company's Bullard Pass Property consists of 4,000 acres surrounding
the past producing Bullard Mine. The Arizona Geological Open-File Report 92-1
states "the mineralogic and structural similarities of the Bullard and
Copperstone Districts suggest that potential exists for a major gold deposit
in the area of the Bullard District." Following a comprehensive gold
exploration program, a NI 43-101 Technical Report dated June 17, 2008 was
prepared by Dr. Pat O'Hara, Ph.D., the Company's Qualified Person in
connection with the Bullard Pass Property. Dr. O'Hara's report has recommended
a 5,000 foot, 10 hole drill program to be undertaken.
In addition, the Company owns 100% of a precious metals processing plant
near the Bullard Pass Project.

    Industrial Minerals, British Columbia, Canada

The Company's Bromley Creek Zeolite Mine has a 30 year mine lease. The
mine is currently optioned to Heemskirk Canada which supplies micronized
zeolite to Haliburton Canada. The Company has several other large zeolite and
pozzolan properties in the area for future development.
The Company has recently entered into a strategic advisory relationship
with Downshire Capital Inc., a private investment banking group based in
Montreal, Quebec to assist the Company in achieving its business objectives
and moving its projects forward.
