Canadian Business Leaders & Malawian Advocate Join Board of Dignitas International

    TORONTO, July 17 /CNW/ - Dignitas International is pleased to announce
the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors: Steve
Flewelling, Gwen Harvey, Nada Ristich and Seodi White.
    Steve Flewelling is the Senior Vice President, Projects & Exploration,
for Xstrata Nickel. Steve has been with Xstrata Nickel since its formation in
August 2006, and was previously with Falconbridge and Noranda for a total of
25 years. Steve is a graduate in Mining Engineering from Queen's University.
He is based in Toronto.
    Gwen Harvey is President and owner of BridgeWater Insurance & Wealth
Management Inc. She is a Chartered Financial Planner (CFP), a Chartered Life
Underwriter (CLU) and a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP). Gwen
is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Planning Practitioners, a
Governor of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), a member of the St. Michael's
Hospital (Toronto) Research Institute, and a director of the Patrick & Barbara
Keenan Foundation. She is based in Toronto.
    Nada Ristich is Senior Manager, Corporate Donations for BMO Financial
Group, and is responsible for the overall management of Corporate Donations.
She is also Secretary to the Bank's Corporate Donations Committee. Nada is
currently a member of the board of the Stratford Chefs School, a member of the
campaign cabinet for the Royal Conservatory of Music, and a member of the
President's Advisory Council at Victoria University in the University of
Toronto. She is based in Toronto.
    Seodi White is a social development lawyer, researcher and writer on
women's human rights. She is the National Coordinator of Women and Law in
Southern Africa Research and Education Trust (WLSA Malawi). She is a
Commissioner on the Special Malawi Law Commission on Gender Related Laws and
served as a regional legal and gender expert for the upgrading of the Southern
Africa Development Community Declaration on Gender and Development to Protocol
status. She is based in Malawi.
