TORONTO, Oct. 1 /CNW/ - The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run
for the Cure will connect 55 communities across the country on Sunday, October
5. The largest volunteer-led, single day fundraising event in support of
breast cancer, the Run for the Cure unites Canadians in communities from
Victoria to St. John's.
WHO: Families, friends, colleagues, neighbours and survivors who have
been affected by breast cancer, as well as dedicated volunteers
and sponsors of the Run for the Cure.
WHAT: The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure is
Canada's largest volunteer-led, single-day fundraising event in
support of breast cancer. Participants walk or run their choice
of one or five kilometres. Funds raised by the Run for the Cure
go to support national and regional breast cancer research,
education and awareness programs that are helping to save lives.
