Canada's largest business association sets out election priorities

    TORONTO, Sept. 23 /CNW Telbec/ - Addressing the Economic Club of Toronto,

outlined the Canadian Chamber of Commerce's strategy for helping Canadian
businesses succeed in the global economy and set out the questions the
politicians need to answer during the federal election campaign. The report,
entitled "An Action Plan for a Competitive Canada", represents the views of
the Canadian Chamber's members on issues that will have a major impact on the
prosperity of Canada, and the standard of living and quality of life of every

the real issues and make it clear where they stand. This is the tack that
Canadian business would like to see the political parties take, not only

that are critical to Canada's competitiveness."
