Callinan Mines Manitoba Exploration Update

    VANCOUVER, April 3 /CNW/ - Callinan Mines (CAA.V) has completed their
winter exploration activity at the Phillips Lake property in the Thompson
Nickel Belt area of Northern Manitoba. Three holes were completed to test
anomalies located by pulse EM in the vicinity of mineralization located in
previous drill programs. Drill core from the program is being split, logged
and sent by freight to Acme Analytical Laboratories of Vancouver for analysis.
    Drilling equipment and crews have now been moved to the Berry Creek and
Herblet claims near Snow Lake, Manitoba. A drill program of approximately 1000
meters is underway. Drill targets occur in felsic and altered volcanics.
