Breuler retires as Director of Lakota

    TORONTO, June 13 /CNW/ - Lakota Resources Inc. (TSXV-LAK) (the "Company")
announces that Mr. George H. Breuler, Jr., has informed the Board of Directors
that he wishes to retire from the Company. He has tendered his resignation as
a Director, effective immediately. The Board respects his request to retire
and has accepted his resignation.
    The Board and Management would like to sincerely thank Mr. Breuler for
his many services to Lakota over the past 18 years. Mr. Breuler was
instrumental in the re-organization of New Anthona Mines into Lakota Resources
Inc. in 1995 and the acquisition of exploration properties of merit in
Tanzania. He has steadfastly served the Company in providing his insights into
operational issues and at the Board at various times as Chairman, President
and a Director. He has been active in raising exploration funds for Lakota and
remains a substantial shareholder of the Company. Mr. Breuler has been
instrumental in bringing Lakota's substantial property portfolio in Tanzania
to its advance drill-ready state.
    The Board wishes to take this opportunity to wish him good health and
every success in all his endeavours.
