Blue Jays sign Camp



    TORONTO, Jan. 7 /CNW/ - The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have signed RHP SHAWN CAMP
to a minor league contract with an invite to attend major league spring
training.
    CAMP, 32, spent the last two seasons with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays,
posting a 0-3 record with a 7.20 ERA in 50 games in 2007. The Fairfax,
Virginia native has spent four seasons in the Major Leagues, with Kansas City
in 2004-05, before joining the Devil Rays in 2006. The 6-1, 200 lb.
right-hander holds a career 10-13 record with six saves and an ERA of 5.27 in
196 games, all in relief.
