Blue Jays complete Coats deal

    TORONTO, Dec. 7 /CNW/ - The TORONTO BLUE JAYS announce that RHP JUSTIN
JAMES has been traded to the Cincinnati Reds to complete the BUCK COATS deal,
made Wednesday at the Winter Meetings in Nashville.
    JAMES, 26, split the 2007 season with New Hampshire (AA) of the Eastern
league and Syracuse (AAA) of the International League. The 6'3", 215 lb.,
right-hander posted a combined 3-5 record with a 3.89 ERA in 43 games (five
starts) with two saves. The native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was originally
drafted in the 5th round of the June 2003 draft by the Blue Jays.
