Big music, from a small community - Northumberland County is "Where They Play"

PORT HOPE, ON, Oct. 1 /CNW/ - Where They Play Productions (WTP) is
pleased to open their doors to the musicians, and would be musicians, of
Northumberland County.
Owner of WTP, James Ayers, studied music production at Trebas Institute
and graduated top of his class. In addition he has played in bands across
south western Ontario for several years. Looking for a change of pace and
drawn to the local culture and music scene, James and his wife recently moved
from Toronto to the Port Hope area.
"There is debate as to whether Canadian music really exists. But, for
those of us who reside in Northumberland County, we know that Canadian music
is well and strong," commented owner of WTP, James Ayers.
Known for being an arts community, the Northumberland music scene is a
mixture of folk, popular/main stream, spiritual and classical forms that range
from Jazz, to Celtic to Rock & Roll.
James added, "The richness of the Northumberland music scene is
representative of the many cultural histories and communities located within
its boundaries."
Specializing in all genres of music, Where They Play Productions will be
providing recording and producing services to local musicians. In addition,
WTP has a limited number of guitar classes available, both private and group,
at very affordable rates.
