BOIS-DES-FILION, QC, Nov. 14, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - The Quebec-based chain, Benny&Co., is set to open three new locations in Eastern Ontario as early as 2018. This operation aims to meet the growing demand from customers in the Ottawa area. It is also a means of introducing the chain's prized specialty: chicken roasted on a spit using an exclusive 3-hour slow cooking technique. Developed by the founders, this delicious dish has solidified the reputation of the brand in Quebec since its inception in 1960.
Fast-casual: a concept that's in demand
Through this latest expansion, Benny&Co. President Jean Benny is excited to introduce the brand's fast-casual restaurant concept, which was developed in 2006. The restaurant concept is defined by a warm, welcoming dining room offering quick and attentive service that meets the needs of a young and family-oriented clientele. The on-site restaurant offers a soup and salad bar, a selection of beers and wines, a children's menu and play area as well as a take-out counter and a drive-through service.
Expansion in Quebec
The Benny&Co. chain has experienced remarkable growth over the past seven years. The network has grown from 12 to 45 branches and will have more than 60 restaurants in Quebec by 2019. In the coming months, new branches will be opening in the cities of Prévost, Québec, Mercier, Lachute, St-Canut, Laval, Bécancour and Sherbrooke, just to name a few.
The Benny Family
To date, all Benny&Co. restaurants are operated by members of the Benny family, who were originally poultry farmers in the Lanaudière region. This family of Quebec entrepreneurs now boasts three generations of Master Roasters.
"Master Roasters since 1960", Benny&Co. specializes and excels in roast chicken. Our grain-fed chicken is carefully selected and prepared and then roasted to perfection using the exclusive three-hour slow cooking technique developed by the founders in 1960. Proud of its family heritage, Benny & Co. would like to share its know-how and invite you to discover its innovative concept.
