    MONTREAL, Quebec, June 4 /CNW Telbec/ - Bell Canada, a leading provider
of integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services and
solutions to businesses, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner,
Inc. in the challengers quadrant in the "Magic Quadrant for Managed and
Professional Network Service Providers, North America" report.
The report is designed to help midsize and large companies identify and

connectivity and communications infrastructure. A total of 18 vendors across
North America satisfied all of Gartner's criteria for the inclusion in the
report's 2008 edition. They are the following:

    AT&T Dimension Data Orange
    Avaya EDS Presidio
    Bell Canada HP Sprint
BT Global Services IBM Global Technology Services Qwest
    Calence Nortel Unisys
    CSC Northrop Grumman Verizon Business

"We consider our positioning in the challengers quadrant by Gartner
confirmation of Bell Canada's mission to enable customers to unlock the power
of IT infrastructure solutions to improve business performance," said Stéphane
Boisvert, President, Bell Enterprise Group.

      premises-based voice infrastructure
    - Must provide, directly or through partners, IT services in support of
LAN, premises-based and hosted voice infrastructure, and WAN edge
    - Must serve clients in North America

According to the report: "Gartner views the capability to create and
maintain a centralized remote management platform as a key indicator of an

participants may not be required to maintain their platforms; but given the
