    MISSISSAUGA, Dec. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - TelDig Systems, a leader in software
solutions for Utilities, today announced that it successfully implemented its
TelDig Nexus Asset Management Software to manage Bell Canada's office and
field operations for both buried and aerial network interventions.
The solution electronically ties together office resources, field
technicians, excavators, inspectors as well as supervisors through a virtual
access to a central database. Users are able to attach photos, videos, images,
digital mapping, etc... It also connects to other corporate systems such as
Accounts Payables, CRM, Technician Dispatch, Legal, Inventory control and
Billing. Centralizing data allows process automation and improves
infrastructure damage reporting and Claims management. TelDig Nexus will also
electronically connect excavators to damage prevention call centers. "Having a
central database for all the data concerning our assets, improves our cost
control, our inspection process and therefore the overall service to our
customers" stated Brent Fleury, Associate Director Field Services at Bell's
Damage Prevention Cost Recovery Centre. "It is much easier now to manage our
claims, all the information is accessible" he continued. "Exceptional support,
careful planning, listening to the customer and adapting the software are key
elements that provided the grounds for this success. We have to work as a team
to make this work" stated Martin Johnson, TelDig's Vice-President. "We are
proud to serve Bell, an established name in the industry. Our team is behind
them 100%, day or night" he continued.
