Sympatico honoured with Online Safety Leadership Award for commitment to
improving Internet safety and security for customers

that Sympatico, Canada's number one Internet service provider, has been named
an Online Safety Leadership Award winner by the Authentication and Online
Trust Alliance (AOTA).
Sympatico's award, which recognizes its continuing leadership in
preserving and improving online safety, consumer education and ongoing
technological innovation, was announced today during the AOTA's 2007 Spring
Summit in Boston.

The inaugural AOTA Leadership Awards recognized companies and
organizations from around the world that are making the Internet a safer place
by adopting innovative technologies to eliminate spam, educating the public
about online safety, and working with law enforcement and government to combat
