Bell Aliant and CEP Atlantic Communications Council Reach Tentative Agreement

    HALIFAX, NS, June 26 /CNW/ - Bell Aliant and the Communications, Energy
and Paperworkers Atlantic Communications Council (CEPACC) announced today they
have reached a tentative agreement on behalf of Bell Aliant's 3600 unionized
employees in Atlantic Canada.
    CEPACC leadership will recommend acceptance of the new tentative
agreement with the ratification process beginning July 10, 2007. Results of
that vote are expected to be announced on July 27, 2007.
    Details on the terms of the agreement will not be discussed publicly
until the agreement has been ratified.
