TORONTO, Oct. 25 /CNW/ - Monday, October 29, may go down in history as
the day the face of Toronto will change forever - for the better. Bazis
International will formally launch its breathtaking new 1 Bloor project, a
whisper-thin 80-storey tower rising from a four-level podium on the southeast
corner of Yonge and Bloor streets, Canada's paramount address.
Michael Gold, president of Bazis, will be joined by his partner Roy
Varacalli, the architect who designed the stunning structure. Eco expert
interior designer Andrea Kantelberg, eco design consultant for 1 Bloor will
also be available. Mayor David Miller and councilor Kyle Rae will speak.
A host of VIP's and dignitaries will gather to celebrate a project
certain to change the city's already striking skyline and see first hand
models and sample suite features.
The event starts at 6.30 p.m. at the newly opened presentation centre at
33 Bloor Street East when guests enter along a red carpet, their way lit by
blazing Skytracker searchlights. The event promises to have all the cachet of
a Hollywood premier, including the premier showing of the 1 Bloor video
presentation which is fitting considering the project it celebrates.
