leading institutional equity manager, today announced that it has hired two
new professionals for the firm's Global Equity investment team as part of its
commitment to enhance its capabilities in this area.
Adam Petryk recently joined Batterymarch as a Global Investment
Strategist and Senior Portfolio Manager. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Mr.
Petryk brings 10 years of quantitative equity management experience to
Batterymarch. He will retain asset allocation responsibilities at Legg Mason
Canada, where he developed the firm's quantitative capabilities. Prior to
that, Mr. Petryk was an equity research analyst at Scotia Capital Markets.

A quantitative analyst, Liz Su, has also recently joined Batterymarch's
Global Equity team. Ms. Su, a Chartered Financial Analyst, was formerly with
Standish Mellon Asset Management, where she performed quantitative research on
the global investment environment and other areas. Batterymarch's global
expertise derives from its extensive experience managing US and non-US equity
