Sports Entertainment, baseball legend and former Blue Jays third baseman today
announced the company and website launch for Gruber Sports, a sports
entertainment company providing baseball clinics across Canada.
Slated to launch the first clinic in St. John's, Newfoundland from June
27th - July 3rd, 2009, the company will allow everyone in the professional and
amateur baseball industry to benefit. Gruber Sports has launched several key
initiatives that will allow professional and amateur baseball players to
appreciate our services including baseball clinics, public speaking events,
private coaching and at risk children and youth community services.
Gruber Sports will provide several baseball clinics in various locations
throughout Canada. The primary objectives address healthier and more
physically active Canadians and more people engaged in their communities by
raising the awareness level of baseball throughout Canada for both players and
coaches and bringing the basics of baseball inscribed by repetitions resulting
in proper muscle memory.
In June 2009, the first clinic will be held in St. John's, Newfoundland.
The five year strategic plan includes clinics in Toronto, Ontario, Montreal,
Quebec, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Saint John, New Brunswick, Winnipeg, Manitoba,
Vancouver, British Columbia, Charlottown, Prince Edward Island, Saskatoon,
Saskachewan and Calgary, Alberta.
Gruber Sports is a Canadian company which was established in Toronto,
Ontario in 2009. The corporation was formed in accordance with the wishes of
the founder, Kelly Gruber, a professional athlete whose main object is to
enhance Canadian professional and amateur baseball.
A portion of proceeds are donated to charities which are dedicated to
improving the physical, emotional and mental well being of Canadian at risk
children and youth.
