TORONTO, Sept. 14 /CNW/ - The 32nd edition of the Toronto International
Film Festival concludes tomorrow and, for the last 9 days, various events have
allowed Audi to showcase a wide range of products in the company of
world-famous directors, producers and actors.
The bold presence of the sporty, progressive and sophisticated new Audi's
shared the spotlight with many of Hollywood's leading high-profile
celebrities, by chauffeuring the likes of : Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie,
Jessica Alba, Jude Law, Jodie Foster, Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Jason Leigh,
Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Chris Klein, Eddie Vedder, Timothy Olyphant,
Elizabeth Banks, Burt Reynolds , Marcia Gay Harden, Rosamund Pike, Hal
Holbrook, William Hurt, Frank Whaley, Tricia Helfer, Donald Sutherland,
Leelee Sobieski, and Alison Eastwood.
Audi Canada's participation in the Toronto International Film Festival
commenced with Robert Lantos' opening night film "Fugitive Pieces" followed by
an after party at the Liberty Grand where the R8 mingled with stars
Rosamund Pike and Ayalet Zurer. Producer Robert Lantos spent the evening in
the Audi Q7.
Audi Canada also sponsored a number of TIME Magazine Style & Design
parties including documentary film "TRUMBO" featuring Michael Douglas and
Donald Sutherland, where Donald had a chance to admire the Audi R8, RS4 and
TT. As well as Canadian film "Walk All Over Me", starring Leelee Sobieski, who
arrived to the soiree at the Boiler Room in the Distillery District in an
Audi was also the official car of the Best Buddies Annual Toronto
International Film Festival Gala featuring a performance by Chantal Kreviazuk
where the new Audi TT Roadster was prominently displayed among guests such as
honored legendary actor Burt Reynolds, who selected an Audi A8 L W12 as his
car of choice for the event.
Audi Canada also partnered with Hello Magazine to host a fete at C-Lounge
where star Chris Klein and much of the cast of Canadian hit television show
"Little Mosque on the Prairie" mingled next to an Audi R8 seemingly floating
on a pool of water surrounded by palm trees.
