    TORONTO, Sept. 15 /CNW/ - Are you a Canadian or international student who
wants to visit university and college campuses before you decide where to go
to school? Are you strapped for time and cash? Do you need to talk to
representatives from those universities but are just too busy with school and
your part time job? Here's a solution to your challenge. Announcing the
Maclean's OnCampus Virtual Fair - an exclusive first-time event that will
allow students to virtually visit the campuses they are interested in, speak
directly to university and college representatives and listen to advice from
those in the know - virtually, right from their own desktop.
    On October 22, 2008, Maclean's, the magazine Canadian students have
trusted for more than two decades to provide the most comprehensive
information needed to make the best higher-education decisions, is making it
even easier to make those decisions. The fair is being presented in
partnership with Youth Culture, publishers of Vervegirl and Fuel magazines.
Association partners are the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC)
and the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC).

    Taking place inside a virtual conventional hall, prospective students can
visit university and college booths, pick up information from each of the
schools, chat with their peers and with higher educational experts, and have

    Check if your high-school is registered:

    Thirty-eight high schools are already registered for the OnCampus Fair,
and that number is growing. Check with your teacher or principal to see if
your school is among them, or to get your school registered. Students can also
register and enter the fair individually, at
    Vervegirl, Fuel and will also be offering opportunities to
register for the fair. Last week, fourteen hundred high schools received
copies of Vervegirl and Fuel.
