At the Montreal Science Center - BODY WORLDS 2 extends its opening hours and stays open day and night for 60 hours non-stop!

    MONTREAL, Sept. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - Gunther von Hagens' BODY WORLDS 2, the
world-renowned anatomical exhibition at the Montreal Science Center, will have
its doors open day and night for 60 continuous hours for its last weekend in
Montreal from September 14 to 16 and will stay open every night until 11 pm
until September 13. Having an exhibit open day and night for 60 continuous
hours is a premiere for the Montréal Science Centre. Rarely has an attraction
in Montreal has had to remain open overnight to accommodate the demand.
    Since the May 10 opening, the exhibition has been a huge success. With
over 250 000 visitors in Montreal, BODY WORLDS has already earned public and
critical acclaim in more 35 cities throughout Europe, Asia and North America,
and has been viewed by over 23 million people worldwide.


    The Montreal Science Center strongly emphasizes the importance of buying

    Created by German doctor and anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens, BODY
WORLDS 2 is a display of over 200 authentic human body specimens, including
numerous organs and some 20 whole bodies. This unique and authentic anatomical
exhibition provides a new perspective on the marvels of the human body.
Visitors can get a better understanding of different body functions, from
locomotion to digestion, compare healthy organs to diseased ones (for
instance, healthy lungs and a smoker's lungs) and even observe the different
stages of embryonic development.

    A new Montréal Science Center for November 2007

    While BODY WORLDS 2 gets ready for its next opening in San Jose on
September 27, the Montréal Science Center continues with its ongoing
preparations for the official opening of new permanent exhibits scheduled for
November 29 2007. The Montréal Science Center will present unique areas of
science and technology to children between 9 and 14 years old. In addition,
the Center will present the Odyssey of Light, a new temporary exhibit produced
by The Musée de la civilization in Québec, also as of November 29.
