Astral Media Outdoor refutes allegations made by

    TORONTO, April 10 /CNW/ - Astral Media Outdoor and its design consultants
Kramer Design Associates, vigorously refute allegations made by and its coordinator, Rami Tabello, of any conflict of interest
between the companies and the director of the City of Toronto RFP for the
Coordinated Street Furniture Program.
    Contrary to claims made on this website and in a subsequent news release,
Bob Millward, Project Director for the RFP has never been employed by Astral
Media Outdoor and/or Kramer Design Associates before or during the current RFP
process. Such claims are unsupported by any facts referenced by Earlier claims by this group have been dismissed by the city. has stated it will request that Justice Coulter Osborne,
who has been retained as Fairness Commissioner, rule on this issue and that
they will respect such a ruling. Astral Media Outdoor and Kramer Design
Associates also request that Justice Osborne review these claims on an urgent
basis and will demand a full apology from to correct the
public record at that time.
    Astral Media Outdoor and Kramer Design Associates strongly endorse the
City of Toronto RFP process and regard it as a highly professional,
well-managed and a fully transparent competition.
    Astral Media Outdoor and Kramer Design Associates also wish to serve
notice on and its coordinator, Rami Tabello, that recent
potentially slanderous posts on this website are under review by legal counsel
and we reserve the right to take such actions as necessary to protect our
corporate reputations.
