CALGARY, Feb. 12 /CNW/ - The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has
permanently banned University Lab Technologies Inc., University Health
Industries Inc., and George Theodoropoulos (a.k.a. George Theodore) from the
Alberta capital market. The ASC panel order prohibits them from trading in or
purchasing securities and from relying on any exemptions under Alberta
Evidence presented to the ASC panel showed that 15 Alberta residents
invested approximately $250,000 in University Lab Technologies through
Theodore and others.
The ASC panel decision is based on an October 9, 2007 New Brunswick
Securities Commission (NBSC) order that permanently banned University Lab
Technologies, University Health Industries, and Theodore from trading in
securities or relying on any exemptions under New Brunswick securities laws.
