TORONTO, Oct. 28 /CNW/ - Centennial College's Centre for Creative
Communications is presenting graphic artist Seldon Hunt in conversation with
Rita Deverell, Centennial's storyteller-in-residence, on Friday, October 31.
Today's post-metal, industrial and doom-metal bands have found an
advocate in this provocative artist, who has created chilling visions out of
the music of such bands as Neurosis, Khanate, Jesu, Null, Isis, Kid 606, Lotus
Eaters and Troum. He has also written apocalyptic liner notes for sunn0))),
Khanate and Whitehorse.
Hunt has been interviewed by numerous magazines and publications
worldwide including Terrorizer, Revolver, Rocksound, Versus, iDn, Vice and
Computer Arts, and has appeared in documentaries discussing contemporary rock
Fittingly, he'll be speaking at Centennial on Halloween, from 12:30 to
1:30 pm, in room 106 of The Centre for Creative Communications in East York.
In addition, his work will be on display in the Corridor Gallery of the campus
from October 29 to December 19.
The Centre for Creative Communications is dedicated to educating and
training tomorrow's communications professionals via interactive storytelling:
