2007 PROMO! AWARDS
TORONTO, Sept. 24 /CNW/ - At the CAPMA PROMO! Awards, held September 20th
in Toronto, Armstrong Partnership won Golds for:
- "Best Multi-Discipline Campaign" for their Orville Redenbacher's DVD
promotion. A first of its kind, placing custom DVDs featuring hit TV
shows into boxes of Redenbacher's product packaging;
- "Best Activity Generating Brand Awareness and Trial Recruitment", for
Chef Boyardee's national launch of its Minis entitled "Newk It";
- "Best Sponsorship or Tie-In Campaign" for Armstrong's "Best
Impressions" program for Levi's Strauss. At events such as Crankworx
and Virgin Festival consumers were fitted in Levi's(R) and
photographed for a national model search, where the winners were
chosen via text and online votes, and
- "Most Innovative Idea or Concept" for the Dairy Farmers of Canada's
"Mobiloke" campaign. Innovative cell phone technology enabled
consumers to use their handheld device as a karaoke machine.
Armstrong Partnership also walked away with an additional Bronze in the
"Best Sponsorship or Tie-In Campaign" for the Orville Redenbacher's DVD
