Globe Style Looking for Canada's Style King and Queen
TORONTO, April 25 /CNW/ - Attention fashionistas, creative dressers, and
style gurus: The countdown is on for Globe Style's first Canada's Most Stylish
Contest. The deadline for entries is Saturday, April 28th.
"Personal style has become increasingly important to Canadians," said
Sheree-Lee Olson, Globe Style Editor. "We're asking readers across the country
to come forward and strut their stuff. Style is not about labels: It's how you
work your look."
Globe Style's Canada's Most Stylish is looking to crown the most stylish
man and woman in the country. Contestants can enter online by submitting three
recent photos of themselves and a short explanation why they are Canada's most
stylish. The grand prize is a trip to Toronto for a $5,000 shopping spree and
a dinner at one of the hippest restaurants in town.
The judging panel, comprised of Globe Style columnists Leanne Delap,
Karen von Hahn, Russell Smith and Amy Verner, will look for flair, fit, mix
and inspiration in the contestants' entries: confidence in how the clothes are
worn, how well they fit, how the outfit is put together to create a personal
statement, and the overall impact of the look.
Five pairs of finalists will be featured in Globe Style between May 5 and
June 2, with the final winners chosen by Globe readers online and revealed on
