Arbor announces management changes

    TORONTO, Aug. 30 /CNW/ - Arbor Memorial Services Inc. today announced
that Richard Innes, President and CEO, will retire from the company on
October 31, 2007 but will remain on the Board of Directors.
    "Dick Innes has been President and CEO of Arbor for over ten years," said
Daniel J. Scanlan, Chairman of the Board. "We are privileged that we will
continue to benefit from his experience as a Board member."
    Mr. Scanlan announced today that Brian Snowdon will be appointed to fill
the vacancy of President and CEO commencing November 1, 2007. Mr. Snowdon has
been a key member of Arbor's management team for over 18 years and currently
holds the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the
Corporation. In a related move, Mr. Scanlan said that Ms. Laurel Ancheta has
been promoted to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, also effective
November 1, 2007.
    "We are fortunate to have people with Brian's and Laurel's capabilities.
These appointments have been an integral part of our succession planning,"
said Mr. Scanlan.

    Arbor Memorial Services Inc. owns 41 cemeteries, 27 crematoria,
3 reception centres located on cemetery premises, and 93 funeral homes in
8 provinces.
