Aptilon Announces Live Video Details Survey Results

    - 83% of U.S. Physicians are interested in Live Video Details with
    pharmaceutical company sales representatives -

    MONTREAL, Nov. 26 /CNW/ - Aptilon Corporation (TSX.V: APZ) ("Aptilon" or
the "Company"), a leading provider of physician access through its innovative
alternative sales and marketing channel, today announced the results of an
independent survey of U.S. physicians conducted to confirm the effectiveness
and use of internet-based solutions for physicians. According to results,
83 percent of physicians are interested in live video details over the
Internet with pharmaceutical sales representatives, with the convenient time
frame being the reason most cited for a physician's interest in live video

    Highlights from the survey include:

    - Majority of physicians indicated that their greatest participation
        would be outside of office hours and from their home;

    - More than 96 percent of physicians stated they like the live video
        meeting format for its convenience and the quality of the
        interactions with sales reps;

    - Nearly 92 percent of surveyed individuals said live video detailing
        with pharmaceutical company sales representatives increased their
        knowledge of products or disease states, with 23 percent responding
        that live video detailing increased their knowledge "substantially";

    - Reasons most often cited for interest in live video detailing were
        access at "hours convenient to me" (70 percent), "like the
        interaction" (67 percent), "can ask questions" (53 percent) and "can
        get needed information more quickly" (52 percent);

    - Nearly 76 percent rated the online interaction as significantly
        superior compared to traditional office calls.

    "The results from this survey validate the need for a new physician
access channel for pharmaceutical company representatives to offer better
education and services to physicians," said Denis Martineau, President of
Aptilon Corporation. "Aptilon is providing a unique and effective channel for
pharmaceutical marketers to reach their targets and increase the effectiveness
of sales teams, and at the same time achieve high levels of physician
satisfaction. Our AxcelRx(SM) Live video detailing service offers convenience
for physicians, increased interaction, and results in improved access to
critical pharmaceutical prescribing information."
    The survey was conducted over a period of six months, concluding in May
2007. Results were based on 4,004 independently recruited physicians who,
within 24 hours of participation in a live video detail with any one of
several pharmaceutical companies' representatives, were asked to take part in
the survey. For a complete report summarizing the survey results, visit

    About AxcelRx(SM)

    Pharmaceutical companies use Aptilon's Internet-based, AxcelRx(SM) Live
video detailing service to reach and educate physicians nationwide about their
respective products and services. Aptilon's current rep-physician interactions
are averaging more than eight minutes for primary care physicians and
15 minutes for specialists, achieving high levels of physician satisfaction.
In many instances, AxcelRx(SM) Live video detailing is the only
Internet-enabled service permitting healthcare marketers to have meaningful
discussions with physicians who are classified as "no see" or "hard-to-see"
