MONTREAL, Feb. 20 /CNW Telbec/ - The United Steel, Paper and Forestry,
Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers
International Union has applied for certification to unionize the 85 hourly
employees of Blue Note Caribou Mines Inc.'s Caribou Mine in Bathurst,
New Brunswick, Blue Note Mining disclosed today.

Officer. "Our wages and benefits reflect the economic realities of this
project and the reality of commodity prices."
Judson said the Company will respect and follow the legal process through
to its conclusion.
