AMO delegates visit PlascoEnergy's Ottawa demonstration facility

OTTAWA, Aug. 20 /CNW Telbec/ - Delegates attending the Association of
Municipalities of Ontario Conference in Ottawa from August 19th to 22nd have
been invited to visit the Plasco Energy Group Inc. ("PlascoEnergy") waste
conversion demonstration facility ("the Facility") located at Trail Road.
Response indicates strong interest from delegates.
PlascoEnergy completed its Facility in June, and is now bringing the
Facility into operation. Less than two kilograms remain for disposal from each
tonne of waste processed at the Facility. More than 99% of the waste is
converted to valuable products, including syngas to operate engines for
electricity production. No emissions come from the conversion process. The
engines that produce electricity operate on clean synthetic gas and the
exhaust is clean and continuously monitored.
