CALGARY, July 4 /CNW/ - Junior Forest Wardens and their families from all
across Canada will be coming to Alberta as we host the National Campout 2008,
July 13 - 19! As we celebrate 78 years of JFW's, we will gather for an
exciting week of educational programs, entertainment, and fun in beautiful
Pigeon Lake, Alberta.
There will be hundreds of sessions to choose from with many things for
all ages to enjoy. We will see sessions on: canoeing, mountain biking,
basketry, beading, carving, photography, archery, to name a few! Some of the
exciting events not to be missed are the Bull of the Woods Challenge, campfire
programs and the evening family entertainment. As always, Junior Forest
Wardens will use the opportunity to participate in tree planting and
reforestation work around the camp location.
Interested in attending? New members, past members, soon-to-be-members -
everyone is invited! There are lots of opportunities to join or start new
